UNCG Basketball Band

The UNCG Basketball Band is comprised of students from all walks of campus life-music majors and non-music majors alike. There is no set audition; however, non-music majors must meet with the conductor before joining the band.

The UNCG Basketball Band plays at men's and women's home basketball games in Fleming Gymnasium and at the Greensboro Coliseum. Members of the Pep Band travel to the Southern Conference Basketball Tournament to perform during both men's and women's games and also follow the Spartans during any other postseason tournaments.

Rehearsals normally begin in late October, and are generally held in the evenings. The ensemble can be taken for 1 credit -Mus396P-in the Spring Semester. For further information, please contact Dr. AsKew.
